Resurrect my Kaiser

it has been 6 months since my Kaiser down. i mean it is broken. the symptom that appeared there was blank white screen. very confusing, since i got no respond for every thing i did to it. finally, i just put it in my room shelf and do something else.. sourcing the net, i got a suggested solution to solve it, replace the flex cable. hmmm, where should i buy it here..? it is rare cellphone in Indonesia. i got a channel in Jakarta, but it is far away and the shop  had been close. phone number unavailable anymore.
then i am checking on eBay, that's where i found this Kasier flex cable.. but not sure to buy it since i dunno where/ how to fix it. then i just watched the item..

during the use-break time, i buy new cellphone, a Samsung galaxy core and use it daily for my communication.

finally last week, when i am browsing the net and open my ebay page, i got this reminder, that i am watching an item there i'd like to buy few months ago.. the flex cable. and it reminds me to my Kaiser, it was 10.pm but i insist to look at my shelf and found my lovely Kaiser :P.
so.. i put an order to buy 1 pcs flex cable and yesterday it arrives. it took a week for shipment.
and here.. i had got the flex cable. then i am confused how to replace it.. decided, i want to replace it my self... sourcing some info and i got this Kaiser service manual :) fortunately :D
then i know the tools that i need.. then i go to local hardware shop here and bought a tool set for electronic appliance repair. you can get the tool set like that on eBay here.

this afternoon, during work break. i start dissembled my kaiser and replace the flex cable, following the instruction at the service manual. and for 2 hours, i could finished it. and just then i realized that i missed to install other 3 bolts and it front VGA camera :(( my wife laughed at me cos of this.. :D
but the phone booted like charm, and run the TNT WM6.1 ROM Pro, that i installed last time before it died.
now i am using my Kaiser again and give the Samsung cellphone to my wife..

so.. since i have known that Kaiser has problem with its flex cable, just now i order 2 other more of flex cables from ebay for spare next time (seller: elife-tribe)--- recommended seller :)
and also an additional back up battery, 2800 mAh power capacity + back cover. this one is doubled cap than it original battery, thats why it has bulging back cover :D
hope to arrive soon :)

My Kaiser (Update: the pics)

Here is my kaiser.. original photo :D
last week, i had installed the original Winmo 6.5 professional. it taste so light, since the installer size is smaller than the winmo 6.1. after testing it for few days, i think the winmo 6.5 is lighter, since there is no additional apps installed. functionally only for phone, texting, surf the net, email, musics, and some other basic.
no navigation, multiple crunchy game and connectivity support.

and yesterday, i found a link on xda-dev about this ultimate-X2 rom, cooked by Abu salza of Indonesia. from the tileshots displayed,  i think i should try that rom. my candidate rom list to be tried  is bellow:
- the ultimate X2 v.xx
- Shifu v19 - 3g
TNT pro
- update the radio to 1.71.09.01 version.
- sourcing info about porting android to it

hopefully succeed in this week end.. ciao
